IC-7700 to Ultra Beam Controller

Hi Guys. I am wondering if I can connect my IC-7700 to my (new) Ultra Beam controller via the RS232 port on the radio. I am already using the standard CI-V port to connect to the radio. Also the cable that came with the antenna is for a Yaesu and is DB9 male to DB9 female. Would I be able to use this cable (without letting the smoke out).

Thank you to John VK3XM for providing the answer to this question. It was simpler than I thought.... 1x 3.5mm stereo splitter
